i have a 91' dodge cummins. last week it started making a bad grinding noise which sounded like from the ve pump. but its coming from that area. two days ago, my truck died felt like it was running out of fuel, but i have a full tank. i would start it for 5 seconds and it would die again. then just sat there and cranked. the next day went out there started it for a minute and pulled it in my shop then it died again. would the ve pump be going out, and thats what is making the noise? any thoughts? and by the way i have no power loss when it was running.
