TC flex plate problem

TC flex plate problem
ok here is my problem i have a 96 3500 4x4 auto with a 1st gen in it
pulled the transmission back to put a new flex plate on and i bought one from
advance auto and when i try torque my transmission bolts i cant turn my TC anymore
i loosen the bolts a few turn and i can spin it.
the new flex plate looks beefier anyway i dont know if that will help
need help my work truck
