Hey dude, if you camo your truck and youre in the woods, you wont be able to see it!!!
There's a guy in my fishing club that has a camo'd lifted 2002 Dodge 1500 4x4 with matching camper shell. Its done in "mossy oak" and actually looks pretty nice. Except for the rims which are super shiny chrome.....looks kinda tacky with them.

Hey man it's your truck, do what you want with it! I think white with just a few dead trees wouldn't look too bad but personally I like the factory paint jobs or like mine which is factory paint sections with a little custom color
Mine is red with a gray stripe

Thanks man I really love my old truck, I was driving it in my dads lap when I was 3, my dad gave it to me when I was 16, now I'm 22 and now my 3 year old son is in my lap driving it around the yard and all three generations have that huge smile on our faces. It gave me a chance to teach my son how to drive and also a chance for me to see what it was like to be in my dads shoes and I wouldn't replace it for anything!
One day I will put a bradford 4box flatbed and put away the truck bed for later so I can use my truck because of my back surgery I can't lift anything over 40 lbs for life and I can't lift anything high at all so I will customize it to fit my need and a month before my son turns 16 I will have the factory bed put back on it and I still have the OLD color swatches to bring the paint back to what it is now.
That's the pride of owning a dodge, it's not just a truck it is a family heirloom if you take care of it, it will take care of you.
My Dad put a full alpine stereo system and tinted the windows for me and the day I turned 18 he handed me the title already signed and to go into my name! Yeah I had already been driving it for two years but it was now something I own and in my name!
When my son gets the truck the only difference is that it will probably have a suncoast transmission (yes it's already an auto and I Love it) a newer updated alpine stereo system, possibly a 2nd Gen. dodge center console for the extra seat, and maybe a rebuild since its already at 250k+ it will be well over 500k when he turns 16 and will need the new sleeves!!!
Don't go finagling with these trucks guys they are build to last, if you just take care of them, maybe a Denny T fuel pin and an exhaust but that should be the maximum mods. Keep it reliable and it will be there forever!
Or when the body rusts off the motor you can hook it up to a 23kw PTO generator and power your house forever HAHA!!!
