Default how much timing?

with what all is in my sig, what would yall run for timing. im currently at 16.5, but was thinking of bumping it up some more. what yall think?

im not worried bout it poping the head gasket. stuff that aint in my sig is a marine .020 headgasket with the head not being milled down. and im o-ringed. i was thinking somewhere beween 20-24 degrees

ive been told adding some more timing will cool the egts some, i can hit 2100 right now

AMEN, a turbo would be the best route to cure the 2100 egts. Have you even modified the stock turbo on that?

turbo, whats that? modified, never heard such a term

yes i need a turbo, but unless ur gonna donate some $$$ to the goblins spending account, cant swing it right now.

as far as modding mine, all the bolts are rusted solid, not even gonna try breaking them off to put a new exhaust housing on it. and have heard way to many bad things hybrid turbos. id probably snap a shaft in no time
