Default turn off truck.

i dnt have a soleniod to turn off the truck with the key...so i have a pull kill switch...it broke off...any ideas how to put the wire back on so when i pull it, it will turn off the truck

i have cable stops on my choke cable.. any auto parts stores will have em, just a cylinder with a hole in it and a screw that tights down the cable

buy a new cable and hook it back up ... I did the same thing with my truck. Choke cable from tractor supply is 24$ for 6'

i had a choke cable on mine but got a new solinoid i like having the solinoid better also i have a cool down timer on my truck so i have to have the solinoid

the pull cable is cool because even if you leave the keys in the truck no one can start it unless they know where the pull cable is

Unless you have it rigged normally open like mine and they can't figure out how to turn it off.

I gave my truck to one of my buddies to pull a trailer and he didn't read the note on the dash. Called me in a frantic something about my pickup being possessed by a demon.

haha. ya. if its standard no big deal. an auto is a little harder to kill. also, the man who does my trannies said if you do kill one by using the tranny, always use 4th gear. its alot stronger than 5th.
