timeing should be?
is there like a typical timeing a pump should be on acording to hp? i have a 94 auto with some injectors stage two from pisacola, a 12 fuel plate slid the whole way, and the waste gate blocked. is there a way to no wat the timeing should be goin off the mods?

have it set at 16* unless your prepaired for studs and head work, most guys set them at 16*
how do you set it? wat do you need
well i take mine to our local diesle shop and he doesnt charge me. the tools to do it your self are about $250. i found a redneck way to do it without tools, its slicker than hell but its aint completely acurate by anymeans 1-2* variation. all you need to ddo it the redneck way is a socket for the pump nut a torque wrench, greese pen and a way to roll the engine
so i take it to a shop and just tell them to set my timin to 16?
ya basically i dont know if they will charge you or not. i would take it to a performance diesel shop. dodge or cummins wont do it because of liability reasons
ya my local diesel shop wants $300 its not cheap by any means
300 bucks to set your timing is highway robbery find somebody else.
ya i know, well that was a quote price for them to fix my leaky injector and change timing + a tune so ya
well if you dont mine being off by 1 or 2 degrees theres always the back yard redneck way that i leraned
