tranny late shifting
Hi guys I got a 95 2500 with 229,600 mi. or so, I recently change the original wheels and tires (275/70/16) for (275/65/18) and now my transmission won't shift as before, now, I Knew this would happened but now it stays at 2000 rpm before it shifts into overdrive and the engine is to loud and I don'y want to hurt it or overwork it. Also I took the truck for atf and filter change and they found pieces of metal in the old fluid, I have the rag with all the metal shavings, all this was done at the dodge dealer, I tried to tell them to adjust the bands and they did not do it, nor did they unplug the battery to try to retrain the memory or tried to see if there was a software update, I know my truck is mostly mechanical. Also would it be wise to try and move the cable that is beneath the throttle? my understanding is that this would lower or raise the shifting from 1st to 2dn and the tps would do it for 2nd to 3rd and overdrive. this is my daily driver and I don't wanna mess it up more than what already is.
thanks. /Users/mariomarquez/Desktop/Dodge.eml/Users/mariomarquez/Desktop/IMG_20150524_090228334.jpg

Thanks for your reply, I know I need to have the speedo adjusted or the miles won't be correct, as far as the other stuff I guess I need to find a shop that would be willing to do it, after all I'm in california and as everybody knows they won't do many of the tricks that other people do in other places. my uncle tried to have his speedo adjusted on his toyota tacoma and no shop or dealer would do it, so now his oil change light comes on about 500 mi. early or (late).
thanks for the advise.
