This is an awesome specimen. The mechanical 12 valve Cummins is the pinnacle of cool diesels and the Dodge wrapped around it isn't too bad. Only in '98 could you get the updated body/interior in the second generation Rams with the 12 valve Cummins and only for half a year. They switched in the middle of the production year to the 24 valve and depending on who you asked, they made a mistake. I spent a long time searching for this rig. The high miles are just a number. This is not a gasoline V-(#), it's an I-6 diesel and a good one. The I-6 is the most naturally balanced consumer available motor configuration and there are reports of builders taking these things apart at 500,000 miles and still seeing the factory crosshatching on the cylinder walls. The cummins will last you forever if you take care of it. Alternatively, you can crank out 1700 HP and mind-blowing torque if you have the money. There is a huge cult following for these too with everything you ever wanted (or not) to know about this truck. Buy it!
Don't need such a large rig these days, otherwise I'd keep it. I need a family vehicle; my priorities have changed
Willing to trade STRICTLY for:
Toyota Tacoma Quad Cab 4x4, Auto
