So i traded for a 1994 cummins and when i got her she was idling around 500rpms so i raised it up. She also has a skip to her. I started cracking injector lines and i noticed that injector number 1 had fuel drizzling out when i took the line off, there wasnt any pressure like 2-6 when i took the lines off the fuel started forming bubbles and then started spraying with pressure. Why would injector number 1 not have any pressure? Could it be the overflow valve?

 

Some one may have forgotten a shim in the DV .. causing it not to lift high enough to pop the injector @ full pressure ..
