Any pictures of where the rack plug is located? I am having close to the same problem it seems. 4gsk kit, 60lb springs, had 6 plate then shaved stock down to 0 plate. boost elbo, EGT and boost gauge. Only getting 20lbs of boost and it strugles to build and My temp holding it to the floor going up hil only hits 950. very little smoke

Alright. Checked out all the other pictures. Awesome build. so by changeing that rack plug it will adjust the timing when in the throttle?

no it will gain you another 2mm of rack travel if your plate/afc set up allows it

The main thing I see lacking is additional fueling mods. We've got a customers truck that's got a 5x10 90 horse injector and some 7mm delivery valves and it has no issue opening the gate on a 64/71. Consider injectors and delivery valves.

Stock delivery valves are good until your pushing 600 horse. I do not need injectors yet. My buddy with stock injectors and delivery valves and is a huge difference from mine. I have the same mods but not as much power. cant under stand it

I disagree, while its true that delivery valves are not a requirement for higher power numbers they also allow for more controllable tuning. Most of the 12v builds we do utilize a delivery valve and a touch smaller injector. What year is his truck? Are you sure of his mods? Regardless of what you want....eventually you'll HAVE to have injectors or delivery valves. Every truck, every pump will fuel differently, and there's no real good way to compare fueling without a dyno. So while common setups and mods might result similar power production, smoke, boost and egt the numbers are not a correct way to determine if the truck is experiencing issues or mechanical issues. If you still feel you have a issue it would be my recommendation that you find a shop thats experienced in P7100 fueling.

Well maybe your friend has a higher hp rated pump. Have you tried changing your fuel filter? Or checking to see if your lift pump is shot. Sorry if this was already said I didn't reread all the posts

i nthink u need to step back and start with basics.check fuel pressure while driving at wide open throttle and make sure it does not drop off.

if that checks ok u need to pressurize your system and check for boost leaks.build an adapter that mounts to the intake of your charger with a ruber plumbing coupler,a pvc pipe cap, drill a hole in end of cap and thread it so u can mount an adjustabe air pressure regulater on it and hook an air compressor to the regulator

keep the pressure under 40 pounds, start off at 0 and work your way up listening for leaks.

30 psi fuel pressure at idle. new fuel filter and new fuel line 2 days ago. Testing fuel pressure while driving next week. Checked for boost leaks, found none.

My guess now is my lift pump is getting weak and cutting back full once i get into the throttle.

In the future I will be doing new turbo and injectors. Not now. It runs and drives great for a everyday person but with what I have done to it there is something not right. My guess now is the lift pump.
